The Royal Canadian Curling Club is centrally located minutes from downtown Toronto, on Broadview Avenue, a few doors north of Queen Street East.
Whether you are a novice or an established curler, there is a league for you at Royals.
House leagues are scheduled six nights a week. They include a men’s league (Thursdays), a women’s league (Wednesdays), four mixed/open leagues (Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Sundays), and a Doubles league (Mondays), which run the gamut from social-recreational to competitive. A ladder system in our competitive leagues ensures novice players can enjoy curling any night of the week.
A number of rental leagues also call the Royals home.
Royals is also the club of choice for the Riverdale/Rotators Leagues. Riverdale is the largest gay and lesbian curling league in the country.
In 2021, the Royals received a Community Building Fund -Operating Stream Grant through the Ontario Trillium Fund. The club used this grant to offer Learn to Curl programming for disadvantaged youths as well as expand its daytime programming for seniors.
In 2022, the Royals received a Resilient Communities Capital Grant through the Ontario Trillium Foundation. This grant allowed the club to upgrade its arena flooring to a newer, more state of the art, environmentally and energy friendly flooring system.
Without the support of the Ontario Trillium Fund, this work would have not been possible. Visit www.otf.ca for more info.
