The following leagues are available at the Royal Canadian Curling Club:
Monday Night - Open
Dates: Every Monday night
Times: 6:40 & 8:40 (times are tentative and are subject to change before start of the season)

Format:
The Monday Open league at the Royals is a recreational adult league open to men and women and is suitable for curlers of all skill levels.
Games are 6 ends in length.
Teams will be placed into divisions, A thru D, based on skill level. Teams will then play a round robin inside their division. At the conclusion of each Round robin, based on their record in the Round Robin, teams will either move up a division, remain in their division or drop down a division.
Any level of curler, from novice to experienced, can enjoy and compete.
Individual, partial team or team entries are accepted. Teams can be made of up any combination of male/female players.
First night of the 2022/2023 regular season is October 17.

Monday Evening - Doubles
Dates: Monday evening

Format:
Doubles is a fast-paced variation of Curling that involves lots of rocks in play!
The Monday Doubles at the Royals, is an open format league, allowing any combination of male/female players.
This league accepts anyone from beginner to competitive.
Games are 6 ends or 1 hour & 15 minutes in length.
First night of the 2022/2023 regular season is October 17.
Tuesday Afternoon - Sportspeoples' League

Format
The Tuesday Sportspeoples league at the Royals is a recreational adult league open to men and women and is suitable for curlers of all skill levels. The Sportsmens League has been playing at the Royals for many years now. It moved to the Royals when the old Terrace Club closed down. Teams compete for the Mort Greenberg trophy.
Any level of curler, from novice to experienced, can enjoy and compete.
Individual, partial team or team entries are accepted. Teams can be made of up any combination of male/female players.

Tuesday Night - Mixed
Dates:Tuesday night
Times: 6:30pm & 8:45pm (times are tentative and are subject to change before start of the season)

Format:
Tuesday Mixed League is the Royals most competitive mixed league.
This league implements a tiered structure (Divisions A thru D) allowing teams to be grouped by similar ability.
Teams move up or down in divisions based on performance.
Teams must be comprised of 2 males and 2 females, alternating positions.
First night of the 2022/2023 regular season is October 11/2022.
Wednesday Night - Women's
Dates: Wednesday night
Times: 7:00pm (times are tentative and are subject to change before start of the season)

Format:
The Royals Women's league embraces players with a variety of skill levels.
A new curler can easily integrate into the Women's league.
Curlers may join as individuals, or as a full team.

Thursday Afternoon - Rec

The Thursday Afternoon league at the Royals is a recreational adult league open to men and women and is suitable for curlers of all skill levels and ages.
This is a new league at the Royals.
Any level of curler, from novice to experienced, can enjoy and compete.
Individual, partial team or team entries are accepted. Teams can be made of up any combination of male/female players.
First day of the 2022/2023 regular season is October 13.
Thursday Evening Super Fun Happy League
Dates: Most Thursday's
Times: 4:45pm - 6:45pm

The Super Fun Happy League is an entry-level league ideal for new curlers but also for those more experienced that may want to throw Vice or Skip rocks for the first time.
SFHL members enter the league as individuals and are assigned to teams by a small committee. Teams will have a mix of experienced and new curlers to help those who are new to the game, but also to ensure parity amongst teams - we still compete hard every week!
The curling year is split into two, with a resort of teams just before the holiday break in December. We do this to enhance sociability, but also to set up the '2nd Half' as a round-robin format with playoffs at the end of the year to crown an SFHL Champion.

Thursday Night - Men

Thursday Men's is one of the most competitive leagues in Toronto.
At the start of the season, teams are seeded in Divisions A thru D based on ability.
After each round, teams will either move up, down or remain in their division.
This allows games to remain both competitive and fun while allowing teams to find their appropriate skill level.
First night of the 2022/2023 season is 13.
Friday Night - Open

The Friday Night Open League at the Royals is a fun and competitive way to spend a Friday evening!
Friday Open is a recreational adult league open to any level of curler, from novice to experienced. Teams may consist of any combination of players.
Teams will be divides into 2 divisions, A & B, and will then play a round robin draw. At the completion of the round robin, teams will either move up, move down or remain in their division, based on their results. Teams will them play another round robin, culminating in year-end playoffs.
Individual, partial team or team entries are accepted.
First night of the 2022/2023 regular season is October 14.
Sunday Night - Open
